Jen Janz is the owner of Lotus Flower Fitness. She is a nationally Certified and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and a nationally Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) for over 20 years. She holds additional specialty certifications from YA, AFAA, NASM, AAAI and other accredited health and fitness organizations. Jen has a Master or Arts (M.A.) degree in Health Education and Fitness Promotion. B.A. is in Political Science & Broadcast Communications.
Jen offers her awesome services in-homes, at the offices of small and medium sized businesses, yoga studios, commercial fitness centers, personal training studios, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals. She teaches a variety of yoga styles, including pilates/ballet-fusion and welcomes everyone to her classes. Students have expressed physical, mental and spiritual benefits from attending Jen's classes on a regular basis.
The quintessential coach, Jen designs and implements fitness programs that get results for her clients. Clients receive a thorough fitness assessment and individually designed programs to help them achieve their fitness and health goals. With Jen, you can be assured of proper bio-mechanical form and optimum body/mind benefit. Personal training sessions usually integrate selected Yoga exercises, Pilates-style core techniques, functional training moves and/or ballet barre techniques to optimize results.
Jen gives classes, workshops and presentations on a variety of health topics, including wellness, fitness, exercise, disease prevention and treatment, stress management, metabolic syndrome treatment, strength & flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning, yoga for sports, yoga for seniors, alternative healing & many other enriching health-related topics.
